OUR VALUES

Every voter deserves to know the values Sherman lives by every day. Derived from George Washington’s Farewell Address, these six principles continue to guide his philosophy in all aspects of his life.

Patriotism

Love for our country is a fundamental motivation to serve. As a proud Nevadan, Sherman always champions America’s successes and finds new ways to inspire patriotism through service.

Faith

Religion gives opportunities to develop good moral character, and strong faith in ourselves as Americans is necessary for our country to thrive. Sherman strives to make fellow Nevadans believe in themselves and their country and live out good virtues as citizens.

National Unity

Amid challenges of mass polarization and partisanship, our nation must find ways to unite and cherish our commonalities. Relating to fellow Americans across the country inside and outside of politics is one of Sherman’s top priorities.

Education

A wholesome education is essential for keeping our nation prepared for the future. Sherman values education of fundamental subjects and life skills that prepare students for all kinds of careers.

Fiscal Responsibility

Handling and spending taxpayers’ money requires prudence and restraint. Sherman will always conduct responsibly on public finances.

Civility

Civil discourse allows everyone to speak and hear clearly. Sherman will always side with more free speech and discussion that values differing perspectives and makes progress to policy action.
